We are searching for a passionate and meticulous Human Resources Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Riverside, CA. The HR Coordinator will erves as the primary internal liaison between the organization and its outsourced Human Resources partner, ensuring the effective coordination and administration of human resources programs, policies, compliance activities, and employee support services. This position plays a key role in facilitating communication, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring employees and supervisors receive timely and accurate guidance and resources. This position is a full-time position, 5 days a week in the Riverside, CA location at $26.00 per hour. The HR Coordinator will report to the Sr. Manager of Administration for oversight and day-to-day operations. What you will do: Enter and maintain accurate employee data within HRIS, payroll, benefits, and related systems. Serve as the primary internal coordinator for the organization's biweekly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll administration in collaboration with the outsourced HR provider, Finance Department, and organizational leadership. Coordinate implementation of HR compliance requirements identified by the outsourced HR partner. Maintain personnel records, policy acknowledgments, training records, job descriptions, and other employment documentation. Serve as an accessible resource for employees regarding HR processes, benefits, policies, and employment-related questions. Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and its outsourced Human Resources provider. Coordinate and facilitate communication between employees, supervisors, leadership, and the external HR contractor. We are looking for someone who is: Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and California employment laws. Excellent confidentiality, professional ethics, judgment and decision-making. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Must possess keen attention to detail. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a true problem-solver. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The Physical Requirements/Demands of this position are: Sedentary work that includes prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; remaining in a stationary position; and often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Walking and moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite building to another. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Ascending or descending sets of stairs or ramps when other means of movement are not available. All staff are expected to: Attend weekly staff meetings (2x per month), on time and prepared with requested updates or materials. Attend annual staff retreat (1x per year) Attend all signature annual TruEvolution activations as requested, including: Youth United Conference, Healthy Community Providers’ Network, and AIDS Advocacy Night, Gala, and other “key” events to the annual programmatic calendar. Travel- All positions at TruEvolution may require travel on a regular basis or periodically. Where the need arises for business travel, appropriate compensation as outlined by the Fair Labor Standards Act will apply. Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications are: Education & Experience Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School diploma or equivalent education required. Minimum one (1) year of human resources coordination, HR administration, or related experience required. Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR compliance preferred. Experience in a nonprofit environment preferred Why TruEvolution?
