No weeknight call; one weekend per month on-call coverage.Location: Rutland, VermontWe are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Foley Cancer Center within a respected community hospital. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive oncology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment across outpatient clinic, inpatient, emergency department, and telehealth settings.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive oncology patient care under collaborative physician partnershipObtain detailed medical histories and perform focused physical examinationsAssess, diagnose, and manage oncology-related conditions and treatment side effectsInterpret diagnostic tests and laboratory findingsDevelop and implement treatment and symptom management plansProvide patient and family-centered education and counselingCoordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settingsMaintain accurate, timely documentation and clinical communicationParticipate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiativesQualificationsFor Nurse Practitioners:Master's degree in NursingRegistered with the Vermont State Board of NursingNational certification through ANCC or equivalentFor Physician Assistants:Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant programRegistered with the Vermont State Board of Medical PracticeNCCPA certificationFor All Candidates:Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience in oncology or related specialty preferredVermont licensure (or ability to obtain)Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC as applicable)Completion of patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint certification per department guidelinesStrong clinical assessment and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systemsBenefitsCompetitive salarySigning bonusRelocation assistanceEducational loan assistanceMalpractice coverage providedAnnual CME funding403(b) retirement plan with employer matchComprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceCombined Time Off (CTO)College Savings Account option
