Process Engineer
Overview
In this role you own Plasma Dry Etch development from experiment design to production release, shaping process innovation within a global semiconductor fab. You will serve as the technical owner of etch tools and metrology, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve yield and process capability. The position offers high visibility and impact on manufacturing excellence in a growing compound semiconductor environment. You will work hands-on to translate DOE results into formal procedures and releases, driving scalable, reliable processes. ResponsibilitiesLead Plasma Dry Etch development and optimization; own etch tools and related metrologyDesign and execute DOEs, analyze outcomes, and release procedures and work instructionsPerform FMEAs to identify risk, plan mitigations, and drive corrective actions to closureMonitor process health with SPC and GR&R; manage excursions and tool/process issues in productionAuthorize tool and process releases to production and train operators on qualified processesCollaborate with Integration Engineers on cross-functional process development projects and milestonesWork with FAB functions to improve yield, cycle time, and process capability
