At JTF, we believe that all voices can and should be heard, regardless of seniority or tenure.Key Responsibilities:Perform full-cycle monthly book close, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on timePrepare and submit journal entries in accordance with company accounting policiesMaintain and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts on a monthly basisPrepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets (BS) for monthly and quarterly reporting cyclesAssist in quarterly financial reviews and support year-end close processesReconcile bank and credit card statementsTrack accounts payable and accounts receivable as neededIdentify and resolve discrepancies in financial recordsMaintain organized and audit-ready financial documentationCollaborate with leadership and other departments to support broader financial goalsPerform additional bookkeeping and accounting tasks as assignedQualifications2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceProficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)Strong understanding of GL accounts, journal entries, and financial statement preparationExperience with monthly and quarterly close processesHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
