PKI Systems Administrator - TS/SCI with Polygraph
PKI SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATORYour role will support national defense and keep critical operations secure and connected across the global enterprise. You will manage certificates, tokens, authentication services, and identity-related security functions that underpin access to critical systems across multiple networks and security domains.Key responsibilities include:Issue, manage, and maintain certificates, tokens, and authentication credentials for users and systems, ensuring adherence to PKI standards and security requirementsSupport full lifecycle PKI operations, including issuance, synchronization, renewal, revocation, and troubleshooting of certificates across multiple networks and enclavesProvide knowledge-based support for customers, Trusted Agents (TAs), and system administrators, advising on authentication, token management, and certificate usageMaintain PKI infrastructure health by monitoring certificate stores, expiration timelines, CRL validation, and associated authentication systemsEnsure compliance with enterprise multifactor authentication requirements and enforce credentialing policies for both user and nonperson entity (NPE) identitiesSupport identity-related incident response by diagnosing authentication failures, resolving certificate conflicts, and restoring secure accessMaintain required documentation, service procedures, and operational artifacts to support secure and consistent PKI operationsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degreeCERTIFICATION: Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, etc.)CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraphExperience with PKI administration, certificate services, token issuance, or authentication workflows in enterprise or secure environmentsWorking knowledge of multifactor authentication, identity credential management, and certificate lifecycle processesAbility to troubleshoot certificate issues across distributed systems, networks, and platformsStrong customer service, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to support technical and nontechnical usersFamiliarity with identity management tools, CRL validation, and certificate authorities is highly desirableUS citizenship requiredLOCATION: OnsiteSalary Range: The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278.
