Program Director
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Program Director to oversee the development and management of our programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, management, and possess excellent leadership skills. The Program Director manages a team that coordinates BB2S's programs. The Program Director will design, implement, manage, and evaluate the organization’s programs. The Program Director is a senior management team member and reports to the Executive Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provide leadership to the program team, consultants, and project team members to achieve maximum business and team results.
● Conducted individual and team development and performance plans for the program.
● Hold bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with the program team to connect, review program and organizational objectives, and support their professional development.
● Work with the Executive Director to create and manage the organization's strategic plan related to programs and activities.
● Oversee and report on program operations for quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
● Compile, analyze, and report on program trends.
● Create and monitor program project plans.
● Develop and maintain evaluation methods to assess program strengths and deficiencies.
● Ensure program goals regarding customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance are met.
● Communicate with customers and/or clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss program status.
● Develop and monitor a program budget and operating plan.
● Report on program goals to ensure goals are met and adhere to budgets.
● Develop proposals for funding activities consistent with the organization’s current goals and strategic plan.
● Represent BB2S at community and regional meetings, conferences, and events.
● Support the Executive Director in strategy development to identify potential donors, funding sources, and outreach opportunities.
● Partner and build relationships with leaders and stakeholders in diverse communities.
● Contribute to organizational communications by identifying and communicating “success stories” from BB2S’s work in its communities.
● Attend networking events and participate in public speaking.
● Assist with reviewing and editing program proposals.
● Travel citywide as needed.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, & EDUCATION
● Work experience in the non‐profit and business sectors.
● Work experience in environments with a high population of communities of color.
● Entrepreneurial and/or consultant experience is preferred.
● A bachelor’s degree or a graduate degree or coursework is preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
● A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is preferred.

● High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web browsers, Internet data mining, and database applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
