Operations Manager (Site Leader)
Site Leader / Operations ManagerAre you an experienced operations leader who knows how to run a high-performing Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC team? CJS is looking for a hands-on Site Leader / Operations Manager to oversee daily field operations and lead a team of skilled technicians at our Kokomo branch. What You'll Do:
Lead day-to-day site operations across Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC teams
Assist the General Manager in hitting revenue, labor margin, and operational performance goals
Partner with Dispatch to maximize scheduling efficiency and daily capacity
Ensure all work meets CJS quality, safety, and brand standards
Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing technician training
Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and urgency
Maintain a strong safety culture with OSHA and company policy compliance
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of management experience leading operations teams in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related home services
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop field technicians
Strong grasp of service operations, scheduling, and workflow optimization
Data-driven mindset with experience using KPIs to drive performance
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Nice to Have:
Technical experience in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC (not required)
Experience in multi-trade service environments
