CDA Strategy & Architecture LeadershipLead the design and implementation of the Cloud Data Access (CDA) aligned with enterprise modernization goalsDefine target-state architecture integrating Guidewire (PC, BC, DataHub) with:Cloud data platform (e.g., BigQuery)Operational data stores (e.g., DynamoDB or equivalent)Data ingestion and integration frameworksEnsure architecture supports:High scalability and performanceReal-time and batch data processingAdvanced analytics and reporting 2. Guidewire Data Integration & OptimizationOwn end-to-end Guidewire data architecture, including:PolicyCenter & BillingCenter data modelsDataHub ingestion and canonical data structuresLead integration patterns between Guidewire and CDA:Event-based ingestionBatch ETL/ELT pipelinesEnsure data consistency, lineage, and governance across Guidewire and enterprise platforms3. Data Migration & ModernizationDrive migration of legacy insurance data systems to CDA platformOversee:Data profiling, cleansing, and transformationHistorical data onboarding (full + incremental loads)Validation and reconciliation processesEnsure functional parity with legacy extracts/reporting (e.g., Excel exports)4. Data Engineering & Pipeline ExecutionLead development of modern ELT pipelines replacing legacy ETL toolsImplement scalable pipelines using:Cloud-native tools (GCP stack preferred)Streaming and batch frameworksEnsure data quality frameworks, monitoring, and observability are in place5. Program Leadership & DeliveryAct as the technical lead across cross-functional teams:Data engineeringGuidewire platform teamsBusiness analytics and reportingManage:Delivery roadmap and milestonesRisks, dependencies, and issue resolutionEnsure alignment with business stakeholders and product owners6. Stakeholder EngagementPartner with:Business teams (underwriting, billing, claims analytics)Enterprise architecture teamsVendor and SI partnersTranslate business requirements into scalable data solutionsRequired Qualifications:Core Experience10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data platforms5+ years in Guidewire ecosystem, with hands-on experience in:PolicyCenter (PC)BillingCenter (BC)Guidewire DataHub (MANDATORY)Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of:Guidewire data models and integration patternsDataHub canonical model and ingestion frameworkExperience with cloud platforms:GCP (strongly preferred), or AWS/AzureExpertise in:Data warehousing (BigQuery or equivalent)Data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, canonical models)ETL/ELT modernization (migration from legacy tools like Informatica)Data Engineering SkillsProficiency in:SQL and large-scale data processingBatch and streaming pipeline designExperience with:Data migration strategiesData quality frameworksMetadata and lineage tools
