Position Description:Provides patient care and diagnosis in all areas of Pediatrics to newborns, children and adolescentsExamines patients to determine the presence of disease and establish preventive health practicesDetermines nature and extent of disease or injuryPrescribes and administer medications and immunizationsPrecepts medical students and residents in the clinic, newborn nursery and general pediatric wardSupervises physician assistants in the clinical settingEnsures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulationsParticipates in research and scholarly activities within the Department of PediatricsDemonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicines Declaration of Faculty Professional ResponsibilityParticipates in the education of medical students and residents of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L.
