Technical Support Specialist (Automotive Industry)

AlphaRex specializes in designing and manufacturing superior automotive aftermarket performance lighting. We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join us as a Technical Support Specialist as we expand our team and suite of services. The ideal candidate will be someone who is always pushing the limits of their capabilities, growing their skill set, and expanding and evolving both the team and the environment around them. This role is responsible for developing customer satisfaction and loyalty by resolving a wide variety of customer problems or customer installation inquiries, verbally or in writing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide exceptional customer service with prompt, accurate, and complete information for all communications Responsible for answering product and technical questions via telephone, email, and social media platforms Serve as the primary and first point of contact for technical support, product specifications, troubleshooting, and installation guidance. Log and maintain data for every customer interaction Coordinate with our photographer/videographer in creating instructional manuals/videos Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or Associates Degree preferred Requires basic knowledge of automotive lighting Requires basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components Automotive mechanical knowledge is preferred Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Able to multitask, follow through and stay focused Proficient using MS Office: Word and Excel and social media platforms Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities Ability to Commute: Baldwin Park, CA 91706 (Required) Work Location: In person
