Job DescriptionFirst Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to join the team in the Digital Banking Division.CompensationThe pay range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000/yr; commensurate with experience.Work HoursMonday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)ResponsibilitiesIn this role, the Business Analyst acts as the primary liaison between the business units, stakeholders, and technical staff to implement and support Digital Banking Systems which include but are not limited to Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Online Account Opening. This position will be responsible for managing various projects and required to assist with designing solutions, implementing, and solving complex problems for the business.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience requiredBusiness Analyst certification from a reputable organization (e.g. IIBA) preferred3-5 years of professional experience in applications support or related banking experience requiredKnowledge of financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking)Knowledge of mainframe or client server applicationsClearly communicate and effectively articulate ideas and thoughts verbally Ability to capture and document business requirements for stakeholder approvalsAnalytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and manage conflictSkilled in demonstrating interpersonal, team building skills and managing conflictSkilled in understanding and focusing on the business unit needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with business unitsAbility to plan, organize and budgePossess attention to detail with excellent follow-throughAbility to work under pressure with multiple deadlinesBasic knowledge of client server and SAAS applicationsStrong analytical, problem-solving skills
