Post Forge Worker

Job Description Forge Resources Group is a leader in closed-die, near-net metal forgings and fabricated assemblies serving diverse industries including aerospace, mining/drilling, railroad, shipbuilding, off-road/ag, and other heavy equipment manufacturers.We are seeking a someone to work in our Post Forge Department, inspecting and cleaning parts, preparing shipments.EXPERIENCE & SKILLS PREFERRED:Ability to read measuring tools and equipmentAbility to accurately document dataExperience grinding with handheld grinders and bench grindersPrevious forklift experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to successfully interact within all organizational levelsSelf-starter to see projects through completionTYPICAL DUTIES:Inspecting parts using a variety of measuring tools and gagesGrinding/deburring parts with handheld grinders and bench grindersCoining partsCleaning/packing partsUnloading/loading trucks with forkliftPrepare shipments according to the shipping planPrepare shipping documents and certification packetsCreate customer shipping labelsCreate and save Certificates of ComplianceArrange trucks for shipmentsForward shipping batches to AccountingObtain purchase orders for outsourced servicesPerform data collection on outsourced services activityReceiving on outsourced PO'sInspection on received partsSave/manage certifications for outsourced servicesForward A/P to AccountingOperating the following equipment:ScaleShotblastForkliftCoin PressComputerPerform other duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:· Continuous Standing· Frequent unassisted lifting up to 40 pounds· Frequent grasping and gripping with both hands· Frequent pushing/pulling/twisting/turning with upper body while holding partsForge Resources Group is a Drug-Free Workplace.
