Determines and administers labor, equipment, resources and financial needs of department operations Facilitates meetings between survey and engineering to create efficient workflows. Makes decisions and recommendations recognized as authoritative that have important, far-reaching impacts on professional and related activities of the companyAssists in increasing the volume of new work by finding new work opportunities with existing clients, assisting with proposal preparation, and finding opportunities to serve new clientsEvaluates work performance of department personnelProvides on-the-job coaching and mentoring for department personnel to foster career growthResponsible for staffing decisions within the departmentWorks with other Survey Directors to promote workflows that facilitate efficient workshare across regionsResponsible for keeping up with the latest technology, and identifying trends within the Survey practice Job RequirementsProfessional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensed in the state of Georgia10 or more years of land surveying experience7+ years of leadership experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness and ability to work in the Kennesaw GA officeSome Of Our Benefits401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vestingMerit-Based Bonus CompensationMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidaysPersonal Time Allowances 2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
