Shop Manager

POSITION SUMMARY Dent Experts LLC is seeking a highly organized and leadership-driven Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of the repair facility. This role primarily manages back-of-house production workflow, technician communications, employee coordination, and team oversight while ensuring efficient shop operations. The Shop Manager acts as the operational bridge between estimators, technicians, administrative staff, insurance carriers, and customers. Insurance and automotive repair experience strongly preferred. THIS POSITION REQUIRES 100% TRAVELING AS IT FOLLOWS THE STORM LOCATIONS *Travel reimbursement arrangements are in place, details to be discussed in the interview.* CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Oversight Manage daily shop workflow Coordinate with estimators, adjusters, administrators, ops assistants, and technicians Monitor repair timelines and production metrics Ensure quality control standards are met Oversee vehicle parts flow Ensuring KPIs are met, tracking cycle times Insurance & Claims Coordination Interface with insurance adjusters ensure estimates match approved scope of work Verify supplements and documentation Team Leadership Supervise administrative staff and shop employees Maintain professional workplace standards Coordinate training schedules (for employees only) Monitor performance metrics Support hiring and onboarding processes Customer Experience Resolve escalated customer concerns only if needed Ensure professional back-of-house presentation Support front of house customer relations Financial Oversight Track shop revenue targets Review gross margin per job Monitor operational efficiency REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years automotive repair shop management experience Strong understanding of insurance claims workflow Leadership and team supervision experience Operational efficiency mindset Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Familiarity with estimating platforms (CCC, etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Insurance carrier experience I-CAR certification PDR industry experience Experience in storm-response environments Multi-location oversight experience BENEFITS OFFERED Dent Experts LLC offers a competitive benefits package which may include: Retirement Plan: [401(k)] PTO Paid Holidays Shop Performance Bonus Continuing Education Support Travel Stipend EQUAL EMPLOYMENT & COMPLIANCE NOTICE Dent Experts LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, Colorado, and local employment laws.
