The role involves providing medical nutrition therapy, conducting nutritional counseling, and creating personalized diet and weight management plans. The Registered Dietitian will work closely with patients to evaluate their nutritional needs, create specific goals, and deliver tailored education and guidance to promote a healthy lifestyle. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers will also be part of the day-to-day responsibilities to ensure optimal patient health and outcomes.QualificationsStrong knowledge and skills in Dietetics and NutritionExperience in Nutritional Counseling and providing Medical Nutrition TherapyProficiency in creating and managing Weight Management and wellness plansGood interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionalsRegistered Dietitian (RD) credential or a license to practice dietetics in Virginia is requiredAbility to develop personalized nutrition and health plans based on individual needsExperience in a healthcare or clinical setting is advantageousStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
