Registered Nurse - Days
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A REGISTERED NURSE!++ Shift Differential ++Schedule: days will vary 7:00am-7:30pmYour Work Matters How will you make a difference?The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.Report any signs or symptoms of infection in patients to the Infection Control Nurse.Verify the accuracy of patient records.Employ principles of communication, interviewing techniques, and problem solving and crisis intervention when performing psychotherapeutic interventions.Intervention is based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures, as well as the plan of care.Employ facility approved CPI techniques as necessary.Accurately and timely administer medication to patients.Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred & Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as an RN.Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.Additional Skill Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
