Grants Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced Grants Coordinator to join a growing nonprofit organization on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will support the development team by assisting with key aspects of the grant process, including reporting, writing, and coordination. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while collaborating with various departments and maintaining organized systems.Role: Grants CoordinatorRole type: W2 hourlyLocation: Everett, WA | HybridDuration: 1 monthHours per week: 40Pre-start requirements: Background checkResponsibilities:• Assist in drafting and editing grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation.• Coordinate with internal teams to collect necessary information for grant applications.• Maintain and update grant calendars, ensuring all submission and reporting deadlines are tracked.• Help with quick turnaround grant applications as needed.• Conduct research on prospective grants to identify new funding opportunities.• Organize and manage grant files while maintaining accurate activity records in Smartsheet and Raiser's Edge.• Generate detailed reports and work efficiently within various systems, especially Smartsheet.• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth grant application processes.Requirements:• Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing and research.• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.• Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.• Familiarity with Smartsheet and donor CRMs like Raiser's Edge is preferred.• Experience in crafting compelling proposals and responding to RFPs.• Adept at conducting computer-based research.The salary range for this position is $25-30/HR.
