Education Coord, Patient Family (RN or RRT)

Job TitleThis position is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) that is a certified asthma educator with 3 years clinical experience and 2 years education/training experience.Responsibilities include bedside education for patients and families, staff education and competency validation for tracheostomy care, and involvement on quality improvement and process improvement process teams that address evidence-based improvements for asthma and tracheostomy care.RequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.3 years clinical experience required.2 years education/training experience required.Certified Asthma Educator required.Baccalaureate degree, master's in education, health literacy, adult learning, or related field strongly preferred.PALS required.CPR required.Cook Children's Health Care System offers a unique approach to caring for children because we are one of the country's leading integrated pediatric health care delivery organizations.
