Pay RangeBase pay range: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr. This range is provided by JMI Recruiting Services, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Job SummaryWe are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Distribution Supervisor search in the Kalamazoo, MI area.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and motivate a small team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficiency and a positive work environment while engaging in daily tasks.Operate tow motors and RF scanners for inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving, following best warehouse practices.Train new and existing staff on safe procedures, equipment use, and efficiency best practices.Oversee stock counts, rotation, and accuracy checks to optimize storage and minimize discrepancies.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conduct safety audits, and address hazards proactively.RequirementsExperience in a warehouse or distribution environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, is required.Candidates must possess a valid forklift certification and demonstrate proficiency in operating tow motors and RF scanning equipment safely and efficiently.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively leading a team and interacting with other departments and management.Additional InformationAll information will be kept strictly confidential.Applications will not be considered without a Resume/Curriculum Vitae which includes contact information.Who we areJMI Recruiting Services is a third party search firm that strategically partners with our clients to recruit exceptional talent nationwide.
