Retail Sales Manager ~ Kroger AccountPreferred Location: Houston or Dallas, TXThe Retail Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving the selling efforts to the customer as a member of the Retail Team. This position will represent the entire Kraft Heinz portfolio to their assigned Kroger customer divisions. The RSM will pursue the following business strategies: Build growth of sales using customer specific programs; Provide customers with internal and syndicated data to make informed decisions; monitor and positively influence retail execution.The RSM will also have the responsibility of developing strong relationships with Broker partners to facilitate in-store execution and shelf management.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelops annual and quarterly sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets and to grow share for their respective geographies.Develops and enhances field customer relationships to improve the organizational position within the customerLead Kroger Division strategic and execution discussions to drive indispensable partnership and incremental growth opportunities at division levelIntegrates and communicates all promotional and customer opportunities across the appropriate business functions.Maintains an effective communication process with the Retail and/or Broker leads to ensure alignment on retail priorities by attending retail planning meetings and conducting in-store walksEffectively monitors and communicates business KPI’s to all the sales leadership teamsWorks in a team environment with Sales, Retail, Supply Chain and Data Analytics to maximize growth opportunities.Travel up to 25%QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeStrong Sales BackgroundExperience working for or with CPG companiesAbility to plan, organize and set prioritiesSuperior communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)Ability to establish and maintain effective relationshipsStrong negotiation skillsStrong analytical and influencing skillsKnowledge of the retail execution environment
