Job DescriptionConstruction Project ManagerLocation: Milwaukee, WIEmployment Type: Full-Time (Salary)Travel: Up to 25%Industrial Redevelopment & Capital ProjectsWe are supporting a leading industrial real estate investment and development firm in the search for a Construction Project Manager to oversee capital improvement and redevelopment projects across a national industrial portfolio.This role acts as the owner's representative, coordinating contractors and consultants while managing the execution of large-scale capital improvement projects focused on the redevelopment and modernization of legacy industrial facilities.This position is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project management who are looking to take ownership of complex projects and gain exposure to industrial redevelopment and portfolio-level construction management.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementManage 8-10 active capital improvement and redevelopment projectsOversee projects from planning and contractor bidding through construction completionEnsure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to company standards Contractor ProcurementDevelop project scopes and solicit competitive contractor bidsEvaluate proposals and coordinate contractor selectionNegotiate scopes and pricing to ensure cost-effective execution Budget & Cost ControlTrack project budgets and capital expendituresReview contractor invoices and change ordersIdentify value engineering and cost savings opportunities Construction CoordinationCoordinate contractors and construction tradesConduct site visits and project inspectionsResolve field issues and construction conflictsEnsure compliance with codes, permits, and safety requirements Typical Project TypesProjects focus on redevelopment and infrastructure improvements to large industrial facilities, including:Loading dock reconstruction and expansionRoofing systems and building envelope improvementsEnvironmental remediation and brownfield redevelopmentHeavy-duty concrete flatwork and parking lot reconstructionElectrical infrastructure upgrades and lighting modernizationStructural repairs and facility upgradesInterior tenant improvements and adaptive re-use projects QualificationsRequired3-5 years of experience in construction management, engineering, or project managementBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience working on commercial or industrial construction projectsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously PreferredExperience with industrial facilities or capital improvement projectsExperience with contractor bidding and procurementBackground in commercial electrical constructionExperience with construction cost estimation or budgeting Work EnvironmentThis role is based full-time in Milwaukee, WI in a collaborative office environment.
