Job SummaryResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Load Ready Mix plant with aggregates to facilitate daily Ready-Mix demands Ability to manage plant and ground maintenance Oversee ecology block operations Manage placement and disposal of carry-back concrete Assist the plant supervisor with environmental challenges Manage and order inbound aggregates on a demand/project basis Operate a ready-mix concrete truck and facilitate deliveries on slow production days Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed Other duties assigned as neededMinimum Qualifications Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, medical card and clean driving record Class B is wanted, but not required, Class A preferred Prior Ready Mix delivery experience and load operator skills required Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customersBenefitsFull-time employees are eligible for the following benefits:Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceHealth Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts401K with Company MatchProfit Sharing8 Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramHow To ApplyKnife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
