This role is based in an industrial plant environment and plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and integrity of petroleum products.In this hands-on position, you will support the blending, batching, sampling, and testing of fuels, helping ensure our products meet strict industry and regulatory standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and enjoys both lab and operational work.What You'll DoTransfer petroleum products between blend and batch tanksCollect fuel samples following established proceduresPerform laboratory testing to verify product quality and complianceOperate and maintain lab equipmentRecord, analyze, and report test results with a high degree of accuracyCalculate blend ratios and support batching processesEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standardsCollaborate with team members while also working independently in a fast-paced environmentWhat We're Looking ForRequired:High school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyBasic math skills and comfort with calculationsAbility to follow written procedures and work independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong communication and organizational skillsPreferred:* Prior experience in a laboratory, chemical, or industrial environment* Basic knowledge of chemistry or fuel testingAdditional DetailsWillingness to work flexible hours or shifts as neededAbility to thrive in an agile, hands-on team environment with shifting prioritiesCommitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment when handling hazardous materialsWhy Join Us?At World Fuel, you'll be part of a team that plays a key role in delivering high-quality fuel solutions.
