We believe in treating every individual with dignity and respect, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.Role DescriptionAs a Business Development & Care Coordinator, you are the face of FirstLight Home Care in the Frisco community. This is a dynamic, hybrid role that combines professional networking with hands-on client advocacy. You will be responsible for building trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and referral sources while also meeting with potential clients to evaluate their needs and coordinate their transition into our care.Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management: Identify and build strong partnerships with hospitals, doctors, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare professionals to generate referrals.Client Intake & Evaluation: Perform initial evaluations for potential clients in their homes to determine the appropriate level of care and service.Care Coordination: Assist the Administrator in the coordination of care for new clients, ensuring a seamless start to services.Market Analysis & Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand FirstLight’s presence in the Frisco market and meet growth targets.Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate databases of prospects and referrals; complete visit records and marketing reports promptly.Clinical Collaboration: Participate in quality assurance reviews and report any changes in client conditions to the care team.QualificationsExperience: 3-5 years experience in networking or sales is required; experience in Senior Care, Home Care, or Assisted Living is highly beneficial.Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with the demands of a fast-paced environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning scheduling/CRM software.Attributes: A sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly; high level of maturity and professional ethics.Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.Physical: Ability to travel locally to client homes and referral sites; must be comfortable in an environment that may include exposure to illness
