Tractor Trailer Driver Job Description Job Summary: Join us as team Truck drivers and play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. As a Team Tractor Trailer Driver, you both will be responsible for driving tractor-trailers, and delivering goods across designated routes. This position offers opportunities for route driving, no touch freight with no set schedules. You will be out 15 days and home 2-3 days. This is a team position only with over 5000 miles a week. Responsibilities: - Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport goods to specified locations. - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. - Plan efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transportation. - Adhere strictly to company transportation policies and procedures for regulatory compliance. Requirements: - Valid CDL Class A license. - Experience in truck driving and delivery operations, particularly with refrigerated trailers. - Proficiency in route driving, manual transmission operation, and load/unload procedures. - Must have at least 6 months of experience -MUST BE AN ESTABLISHED TEAM - Attention to detail regarding safety protocols to uphold accident-free operations.
