Patient Care Representative (Hyannis)
Purpose of Position: Provides outstanding customer service to all callers when assisting with patient’s needs during telephone encounters.DescriptionAdvocates for the patient’s appointments, and healthcare needs Communicate unresolved issues to manager or designee to facilitate timely interventionsDemonstrate excellent communication skills effectively and efficiently Maintains accurate records of all calls and corresponding detailsEfficiently field patient questions and concerns Process messages and report to the respective physicians and their teams, whenever necessaryAttends and actively participates in team meetingsAnswers phones in accordance with department standards to achieve expected goalsCommunicates effectively and efficiently when in the call center assignment Other work related duties as assignedConsistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects MACC’s commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and serviceQualificationsAbility to read, write and communicate in English at the level of a high school graduateAbility to work independently in a fast paced environment Excellent telephone and communication skills Strong interpersonal, customer service and time management skillsExperience with current office technology, proficient with computer office applicationsMinimum of one year experience in a clinical setting preferredSchedule Details:40 Hours Per Week, Mon-Fri, 8a-4p, No Weekends or HolidaysOrganization : Medical Affiliates of Cape CodPrimary Location : Massachusetts-HyannisDepartment : MAC-Phones & SchedulingAnnual/Hourly: HourlyHiring Pay Range: 20.6 - 23.75
