Project Engineer
About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer with strong Microsoft cloud expertise to lead and deliver infrastructure and cloud migration projects for multiple client environments.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end — from technical planning and solution design to deployment, documentation, and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, and comfortable working directly with clients while managing multiple implementations simultaneously.You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and cloud-first environments using Microsoft technologies, with a strong focus on Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Infrastructure ProjectsLead and execute cloud migration projects across multiple client environmentsDesign, deploy, and support Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environmentsBuild secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-first solutionsConfigure and manage:Identity and access managementNetworking componentsFirewallsSecurity policiesPerform Microsoft 365 integrations and environment configurationsImplement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutionsProject OwnershipServe as the technical lead throughout the full project lifecycle:DiscoveryScopingPlanningDeploymentDocumentationCloseoutManage multiple technical projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project objectivesCollaborate closely with account managers, service desk teams, and clients to ensure smooth project deliveryIdentify risks proactively and apply security best practices throughout implementationsDocumentation & Client CommunicationCreate and maintain accurate technical documentation aligned with company SOPsProvide clear project updates and communicate technical information effectively to clients and internal stakeholdersSupport post-deployment handoff and knowledge transfer activitiesRequired Qualifications3–5 years of experience in a:Project EngineerSystems EngineerCloud EngineerInfrastructure Engineeror similar roleProven experience delivering:Azure migrationsAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deploymentsMicrosoft 365 integrationsStrong understanding of:Microsoft Entra IDEntra Domain ServicesIdentity & Access Management (IAM)Networking fundamentalsFirewall configurationExperience with backup and disaster recovery solutionsStrong client-facing communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of technical projectsThis is a remote, full-time contractor opportunity paid in USD
