Line Cook
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic team in a busy restaurant environment. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional food quality to our customers.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and health regulations.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for the day.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Demonstrate proficiency with knife skills and ability to use kitchen equipment safely.
- Prepare and plate food to high-quality standards.
- Maintain a high level of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Adhere to food handling and preparation guidelines, ensuring that all food items are prepared and served safely and hygienically.
- Must be able to read English displayed on KDS.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with menu planning and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with knife skills and kitchen equipment.
- A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and presentation.
