Project Engineer – Biopharma Process Systems

Day to Day Responsibilities:Support the Engineering & Automation team in bringing new process areas online, including design-phase and execution workAssist full-time engineers across capital projects and general engineering scopesContribute to detailed design efforts, including process equipment layout and system integrationProvide hands-on engineering support in areas such as:InstrumentationBioreactor suitesProcess systems implementationWork cross-functionally with manufacturing, process, validation, and quality teamsIndependently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentIdentify gaps proactively and deliver solutions with minimal oversightRequired Qualifications (Must-Haves)5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences engineeringBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred; Biomedical, Biopharma, Medical, or Mechanical accepted)Proven experience supporting large-scale capital projectsStrong ability to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesHands-on experience with installation and commissioning of chromatography skidsPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)Experience with:BioreactorsWFI (Water for Injection) systemsProcess alarms and instrumentationExposure to upstream/downstream bioprocessing environments
