We are proud to be part of a state-wide community of people who share our values, and part of a company that supports us so we can support our clients!What You'll DoTake patient vitals, collect health information, administer medications and injections (including long-acting injectables), coordinate lab work, and accurately document all care in the EHR.Manage and maintain injection schedules and lab coordination while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.Assist with medication management by processing refill requests, prior authorizations, and coordinating effectively with providers, pharmacies, and the care team.Monitor patients for medication side effects or concerns and communicate findings to providers in a timely and professional manner.Provide patient education related to medications, treatment plans, injections, and follow-up care while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.Support patient triage and respond to clinical calls or messages within scope of practice using clear and effective communication.Work collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, pharmacies, labs, and patients in a professional environment that values teamwork, confidentiality, and high-quality patient care.Good To KnowPosition is based in Anchorage, AlaskaFull-Time, Non-ExemptPay Range is between $66,500 to $84,900 depending on experienceAKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 4% automatically contributed by AKBH. PTO is accrued at the rate of five (5) weeks of PTO for the first year; eight (8) weeks of PTO after the first year. PTO is used for company recognized holidays.What We Need from YouYou have a current Practical Nurse license for the state of AlaskaMust possess a valid Alaska Drives license and good driving recordYou are comfortable with EMR usage and are a fast learner with computer programsExperience working with mentally ill clients preferredAlaska Behavioral Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
