Junior Network Engineer
Overview
In this role you will support and learn from senior engineers to help maintain secure, reliable client networks. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to real-world network operations and contribute to stability and security across projects. You will work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes growth and hands-on skill-building with modern networking tech. This is an entry-level opportunity to start a career in network engineering within a the Corserva managed services context.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in installing, configuring, and maintaining switches, routers, and firewallsMonitor network performance and troubleshoot under guidance of senior engineersPerform routine maintenance such as firmware updates and patch managementMaintain accurate network configuration and incident records; contribute to SOPs and knowledge baseSupport network security measures (access controls, firewall rules) and respond to incidents as directedCollaborate with senior engineers to develop skills and stay current with networking technologiesParticipate in rotating on-call schedule to support network issues outside business hours
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in a related field0–2 years of experience in network engineering or related roleBasic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewallsExposure to network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniquesCompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective verbal and written communicationWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentTCP/IPDHCPDNS
