Wireless Bluetooth Tools & Triage Software Engineer

Join us in the Core Bluetooth Software Engineering team and develop the next generation of Bluetooth tools, diagnostics, and automation! As a Bluetooth Tools Engineer, you'll be at the center of it all: building tools to analyze software bugs, identify trends and regressions, improve triage workflows, and automate testing. You'll work closely with CoreBluetooth and cross-functional engineering teams to improve software quality and the customer experience, while leveraging AI to build intelligent tools for unit testing and developer productivity. Description You will be challenged with a constantly evolving set of Bluetooth software problems, building tools and automation to improve how issues are analyzed, tested, and resolved. You will work with engineering teams to identify trends and regressions, improve diagnostic and testing workflows, and explore AI-powered approaches to make Bluetooth software development and unit testing more efficient. Preferred Qualifications Strong software engineering, debugging, and automation skills Strong Python experience; C/C++ experience is a plus Familiarity with Bluetooth technologies, diagnostics, logs, and debugging workflows Experience building tools and automating workflows to improve engineering productivity Experience or interest in using AI/LLMs to build tools for automated testing and unit test generation Strong analytical skills with a passion for identifying trends, regressions, and opportunities for automation Strong cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $194,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
