Plant Services Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Plant Services Technician to support the Plant Services Department. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, as well as specialized tasks such as painting, wood finish repairs, drywall repairs, and branding updates. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for staff and patients with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include basic construction such as framing, hanging drywall, finishing, wood working, wood finishing, dropped ceiling construction, commercial flooring, and wall paper / painting. Additionally, you will help with the general maintenance of the facility’s systems such as Plumbing, HVAC, and other associated systems as needed. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and infection control protocols are critical, particularly in patient areas. Hours for the Plant Services Technician are Monday- Friday from 7a-330p, with an on-call rotation every 4-5 weeks. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction or building maintenance, with experience in drywall, commercial flooring, wall repairs, and basic maintenance repairs. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and excellent attention to detail are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform tasks in various weather conditions. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends or after-hours work, may be required. A valid driver’s license and background check are necessary.
