Description: This position is for a critical-access facility. The facility offers a variety of services, including emergency care, cardiology, and orthopedics. The hospital is recognized for the quality of its services. It has a pleasant atmosphere, opportunities for growth, and friendly colleagues. The location is known for natural beauty and outdoor activities. The Radiology/CT department operates with 30 critical access beds. The team consists of 14-15 technologists. There are 5 technologists working during the day shift on weekdays, with overlapping shifts for x-ray and CT. On weekends, there are 2 technologists in x-ray and CT. The night shift has 2 technologists until midnight and 1 from midnight to 07:00. The department averages 71 patient volumes daily for x-ray and CT. Equipment includes a 128-slice CT scanner and digital x-ray/fluoroscopy devices. The EMR system used is Cerner and Philips Intellispace PACS. Routine CT and imaging procedures are standard in this role. Code Stroke CT imaging with perfusion is also performed. Candidates must be flexible and have strong teamwork skills. Exam protocols are established by radiologists and are accessible at the facility. Unit policies and guidelines are available to ensure compliance with protocols. Weekends and on-call requirements are established accordingly.
