Founding Infra Engineer

Leverage Computer is building the multiplayer computer for AI-native teams: one place where the team talks, agents work, tools run, context compounds, and work stays visible. We are hiring a Founding Infrastructure Engineer to build the shared compute layer for agent work.Leverage gives every team a shared computer and every agent a governed place to run. You’ll build the systems that make that real: isolated execution, durable sessions, tool access, observability, scheduling, and cost-aware scale. You’ll own infrastructure across VM lifecycle, sandbox boundaries, filesystem persistence, runtime orchestration, process supervision, tunnel reliability, and governed access to external tools. This is not hidden plumbing. The infra defines what agents are allowed to do, how fast they feel, how much they cost, and how much teams trust them.We are looking for someone who:Likes owning production systems end-to-endCan debug across TypeScript, Go, Linux, networking, queues, databases, and runtime boundariesCares about reliability, speed, recovery paths, cost per run, and isolation boundariesHas experience with VMs, containers, Firecracker, schedulers, observability, distributed systems, developer tools infra, or agent runtimesHas strong taste for simple systemsThe team is small, in-person, talent-dense, and moving fast. We bring experience from Databricks, Yandex, YC startup founding engineering, AI-native products, and enterprise AI systems.Compensation: $200K-$350K salary depending on seniority and fit, plus meaningful equity.Apply: founders@leverage.computerMore: https://leverage.computer/careers/founding-infrastructure-engineer/
