We are seeking Board-Certified Cardiologists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Ovando, MT. This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient coverage and the chance to work in a scenic, serene region of Montana. Assignment Details: Start Date: March 2025End Date: January 2026Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call.Setting:Outpatient clinic and inpatient rounds.Nuclear cardiology interpretations (preferred but not required).Supportive team including advanced practitioners and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide general cardiology services, including:Patient consultations in an ambulatory clinic (Monday to Friday, 8 am5 pm).Rounding on hospitalized patients.Supervise and collaborate with a team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).Participate in nuclear cardiology reads (if certified).Cover scheduled call assignments, typically requiring a 20-minute response time. Assignment Schedule: Specific dates include coverage during key holiday periods and high-demand times. Examples of priority dates:March 324, 2025 (spring break coverage).May 23June 2, 2025 (holiday coverage).July 1828, 2025 (high-demand summer coverage).December 19, 2025January 5, 2026 (holiday coverage). Additional Information: Patient Volume: Approximately 912 patients per shift.EMR System: Epic.Licensure: Must be licensed in Montana or eligible via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).Certifications: ACLS required; Board Certification in Cardiology required.Temporary hospital privileges are available for qualifying candidates.
