AP/AR Administrator

Job Profile The mission of the AP/AR Administrator is to ensure that all accounting functions are processed and maintained efficiently and in accordance with company policies, contract terms and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Review and Process Accounts Payable, Cash receipts, and employee expense reports. Project based client billing support for project managers. Work proactively to address daily operating AP issues and maintain vendor files. Administer purchase orders and subcontract pay application requests for projects and communicate/coordinate with project team to process payments. Support monthly financial close, annual review, and project closeout. Maintain and organize filing and data storage system. Miscellaneous administrative duties to support the team and as directed. Adherence to Finance/Admin processes, guidelines, and policies. Qualifications: o Five (5) years of experience working in a construction accounting group (AP, AR, and Payroll) or, o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with Two (2) years of experience in a construction accounting group o Preferably have experience in Sage 300. o Have strong administrative and organizational skills and attention to details. o Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel experience. o Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with other team members to achieve common objectives and must be a self-starter. o Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a deadline-sensitive environment.
