Our dedication to quality, service, and continuous improvement makes us a trusted partner in industries like aerospace, defense, medical, and more.What You'll DoAs a Quality Assurance Inspector, you'll work closely with Production, Engineering, and Sales to ensure parts meet precise customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include:Acting as a liaison between production, customers, and sales regarding quality concernsInterpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical standardsSelecting and testing products at different stages of production for dimensions, performance, and material characteristicsRecording and evaluating test data using statistical quality control proceduresPerforming final inspections and generating detailed reportsMaking recommendations to improve quality or production standardsSetting up and conducting destructive and nondestructive tests as neededUsing a range of precision inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and moreQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GEDOne or more years of experience in a related inspection, quality, or manufacturing roleOr an equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Experience:Experience working in environments certified to ISO 9001 or AS9100 standardsKnowledge and hands-on experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reportsFamiliarity with aerospace industry requirements and quality expectationsLead or supervisory experience in a quality or manufacturing roleProficiency with SPC tools/softwareSkilled use of inspection tools and equipment including:Calipers, micrometers, durometersOptical comparators, CMMsRockwell hardness testers, eddy current meters, surface plates, protractors, and height gaugesAbility to document inspection results clearly and prepare formal reportsJoin the LGS LegacyWhen you join LGS Technologies, you're not just accepting a job—you're becoming part of a team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and people.
