In this role, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring smooth patient flow in our facility on an as-needed basis.Greet and check-in patients, verifying their information and insurance detailsSchedule and manage appointments using our electronic scheduling systemAnswer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate departmentsMaintain a clean and organized reception areaCollect and process patient payments and co-paysAssist with medical records management and filingCoordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flowPerform general administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, and scanning documentsEnsure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentialityAssist with other administrative duties as assignedQualifications Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferredPrevious experience in healthcare front office or administrative roles preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in MS Office and familiarity with electronic scheduling softwareKnowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare operationsFamiliarity with medical insurance and billing processesCustomer service-oriented with a professional demeanorAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededMedical office certification (e.g., Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) a plusDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiencyAbility to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulationsAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Compensation:Pay Range: $17.68 - $24.76
