Job Description MACHINE REPAIR –MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR TECHNICIANMetropolitan Baking Company is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Supervisor Technician at our facility in Hamtramck, Michigan.This position requires the technical skills to:EvaluateDirects workers, or assists in diagnosing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipmentInterprets company policies to workers and enforces OSHA and company safety regulationsInterprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns dutiesEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedulesTroubleshootRepair and install bakery and food processing equipment.Mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration knowledgeMaintain conveyors and physical structures.Preventative MaintenanceStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysPosition Start time roughly 3:00 – 4:00 PMIn addition, the Maintenance Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely on Mechanical and Electrical equipment in a high speed production environment.Qualifications:1 year related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade.
