Required Skills/Knowledge:
Self-motivated and able to think outside the box for solutions.
Tool Maker i.e., dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges from raw stock and purchased items.
Diagnosing faults and repair damaged tooling. Performing regrinding of DMLS and Lapping plates. Work with maintenance to minimize downtime of machine repairs.
Operating Manual and computer-controlled (CNC) machines (Lathes/Mills/Surface-Blanchard Grinders to achieve precise dimensions.
Inspecting machined parts and tools using Precision Metrology instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
Identifying issues with existing tools and developing solutions for modification or improvement.
Ability to work with all areas in the manufacturing process
Shift: 1st (7:00-3:15) / OT when available – Not Mandatory
Additional Skills Preferred:
Intermediate to Advanced Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
