Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Stillwater, OK Agency: Towne U.S. LLC Pay: $1,765 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support therapy services for patients with injuries, illnesses, or mobility limitations. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Responsibilities Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility activities Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist Educate patients on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety precautions Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation in accordance with facility guidelines Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional healthcare environment Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Required: Active PTA license in state of practice or ability to obtain Preferred: Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
