The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for children, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of everyone in the center. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and disinfect classrooms, restrooms, play areas, and common areas. Ensure all surfaces, including floors, tables, chairs, and toys, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly. 2. Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily. Spot clean carpets and rugs as needed. Perform periodic deep cleaning of carpets and floors. 3. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and fixtures. Replenish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper supplies. Ensure restrooms are clean and odor-free at all times. 4. Play Area Upkeep: Clean and disinfect toys, play equipment, and outdoor play areas. Ensure play areas are free from hazards and clutter. 5. General Duties: Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines. Qualifications: Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean environment. Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. Working Hours: Part-time position with flexible hours. Availability to work mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
