(VISTA) is currently seeking an experienced Military Data Analytics Lead to support multiple federal government programs in the Northern Virginia area. This is a remote position and requires candidates to reside in the National Capital Region (NCR) in order to attend meetings in Arlington/Crystal City, VA. The selected candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented team supporting analysis of Army installations and facilities.ResponsibilitiesLoading data into databases, developing and executing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routinesQuerying, analyzing, and reporting on Army real property and associated installation dataDeveloping multi-billion-dollar Army funding requirementsWriting complex queries and programmatic routines to facilitate integration and analysis of large datasetsInterpreting results, checking data quality, and performing root cause analysisDeveloping and running analytical modelsExtracting, cleansing, and synthesizing data for input into various systemsDeveloping visual analyticsProducing written and verbal narratives, briefing slides and charts to support senior leadershipBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityExpertise in database and data mining and extraction applications such as Python, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI Report Server (PBIRS), MS Access, and MS ExcelMinimum 5 years of experience programming with SQL, SQL stored procedures, DAX, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)Minimum 5 years of experience using data visualization applications such as Power BI and TableauCompTIA Security + Certification or ability to obtain certificationDoD Secret level clearance requiredDesired QualificationsExperience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database is a plusDoD Installation Public Works Management and Resource ManagementWorking with data related to military construction, real property, and facility sustainment, restoration, and modernizationDoD Real Property Information Systems, including analyzing facility standards and real property dataQuantitative research and data mining, analysis, collection and reportingClearances and CertificationsCompTIA Security + Certification or ability to obtain certificationDoD Secret level clearance requiredLocation Arlington, Virginia (National Capital Region - NCR) – remote but requires occasional onsite meetings in Arlington/Crystal City, VA.Salary Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
