We are a high-octane professional services organization based in Portland, OR, specializing in aggressive tax strategy and business coaching for companies in the $1M–$100M range. We are currently scaling into five new major markets (Orange County, Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver) with a goal of 50 new tax and strategy clients per market by the end of 2026.Why We’re HiringFollowing a high-velocity tax season, we are expanding our executive review layer and require a Second Signer to oversee complex compliance and reporting to our Compliance Manager. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely, but if you’re in one of our growth markets, you’ll have the unique chance to eventually anchor a physical office and meet our real estate and strategy clients face-to-face.The Role: What You’ll DoExecute Executive Review: Serve as the "Second Signer" on complex business tax returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065) and high-level financial statements.Master the Ledger: Record and categorize financial transactions with 100% accuracy, providing the data that fuels our $1M+ business strategies.Project Leadership: Manage project timelines to ensure all compliance deliverables are completed well ahead of schedule.Client Strategy: Respond to high-level client inquiries regarding billing, tax strategy, and account discrepancies.Audit & Compliance: Support the tax team during busy season by organizing workpapers and assisting with external audits.Process Optimization: Identify and fix bottlenecks in our digital workflows to maintain our high standards of speed.Collaborative Oversight: Report directly to the Compliance Manager while partnering with owners to execute coaching and real estate referrals.The Background You NeedCredentialed Expert: Active CPA or EA license is required (we need signers, not just preparers).Proven Track Record: 3–15 years of experience in public accounting or professional services; we are open to seasoned veterans who want a more efficient platform.Software Fluency: Deep proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and modern tax tech stacks.Market-Focused: While this is a remote-first role, candidates located in (or willing to relocate to) Orange County, Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, or Denver will be given top priority.The Interview ProcessWe move as fast as you do. The process from first contact to offer is approximately 4 weeks:Initial Screen: Discovery call with Daava Mills of FloatHR.Technical Deep-Dive: Interview with two Stratvian owners (Heads of Accounting and Business Coaching).Executive Final: A final interview with the full executive team of four owners.Pay and BenefitsWe believe in rewarding efficiency and technical mastery.Salary Range: $90,000 – $170,000 (commensurate with experience).The "Stratvian Perk": An annual meal allowance of up to $15,000 (leveraging tax-advantaged non-taxable meal rules).Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and a robust retirement plan.Note: We are hiring multiple people for this role as we hit our market goals.
