SummaryAs a Regional Manager for our Power Delivery division, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of multiple construction projects across a certain region. You will lead a team of project managers, engineers, and other staff members to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will report directly to a Vice President and have a direct and ongoing working relationship with the VP of Operations. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. You will be accountable for the overall success of the region, including financial performance, safety, and employee engagement. The growth path for this position may lead to a Vice President position. Ideally, we are looking for an individual midway through their career with the opportunity to grow in their career.Key Responsibilities· Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for all projects in the region, leveraging your field experience in heavy civil construction. Direct and guide project managers and teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary team of project managers, engineers, estimators, and support staff. Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration that empowers team members to achieve project goals and personal growth.· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the quality of work.· Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, and work with the Power Delivery Team and Business Development Teams to develop and secure new contracts.· Collaboration: Review and collaborate with estimators on bidding proposals.· Financial Performance: Work closely with project managers and other staff members to monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are profitable and meet financial targets.· Safety Management: Ensure that all projects are conducted safely, and in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and policies.· Talent Management: Work closely with Human Resources to provide recruiting and retention efforts for your projects and team.Key Requirements· Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.· Experience: At least 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a proven track record of managing teams and large scale heavy civil construction projects.· Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of heavy civil construction, including excavation, grading, paving, clearing, and underground utilities construction.· Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of staff members.· Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.· Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and policies in heavy civil construction.· Travel: Willingness to travel to oversee projects and meet with clients.Candidates that accept an offer of employment are required to undergo and successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination.
