This role focuses on efficiently improving quality, safety, continuous improvement, performance management, associate development, team engagement, and operating results.What we are looking for?High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education4+ years experience in a people management role4+ years experience in a technical manufacturing continuous improvement environmentWorking knowledge of Good Manufacturing PracticesProficient in computer software's including MS Office and emailPhysical RequirementsCan perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred QualificationsTechnical degree or certificationsMechanical training or experienceWhat will your key responsibilities be?Manage and motivate a team of up to 15 associates to meet KPIs, maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety while fostering associate engagement and development.Implement changes in methods, equipment, systems, and organization as needed to ensure line/area objectives are achieved.Provide recommendations using a Continuous Improvement mindset Collaborate with the Area Leadership team to enhance strategies for improved line/area performance.Coach operators to develop their functional and leadership capabilities, driving accountability within the team.Coordinate materials, staffing, and resources to support line operations and changeovers.Ensure ongoing production and conversion of materials into quality, safe, and defect-free products, consistent with Mars principles.Any ad hoc requestsTotal RewardsStarting Pay: Based on experience starting at $89k+ Annual Bonus and Merit Increases Benefits Starting Day One: Medical, Vision, and Dental Up to 6% 401(k) match Vacation time Tuition reimbursement Short/Long-Term Disability 18 weeks parental leaveAllergies: This is a peanut FREE facilityWhat can you expect from Mars?The opportunity to learn, develop and take charge of your own career.
