Interim HR/Payroll Specialist- SNF

Payroll/HR Specialist Beloit Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Payroll/HR Specialist to join our amazing team on an interim basis to provide coverage during the short-term leave of our current Payroll/HR Specialist. Position Overview The Payroll/HR Specialist is responsible for overseeing all human resources and payroll functions within the facility. This role ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations while fostering a supportive, professional, and employee-focused work environment. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain an organized and efficient payroll system to meet facility needs Review timecards, verify hours, and ensure accurate payroll processing Process biweekly payroll and PTO requests accurately and on time Implement and manage written HR policies and procedures Oversee recruitment using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Lead interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts professionally Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws Utilize performance management tools to guide and support team members Ensure consistent application of company HR policies Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals Maintain HR systems, files, and records Support employee retention and engagement initiatives QualificationsMinimum 1 year of HR/Payroll support or related experience Healthcare experience preferred, especially in skilled nursing Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ready to Make a Difference?Apply Today!
