100% RemoteEnterprise Architect with Duck Creek & P&C ContractJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Financial Services and Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance. The role requires deep knowledge of Duck Creek and focuses on evaluating business and IT processes, defining architecture strategies, and driving innovation, efficiency, and cost optimization across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate internal functions, business strategies, and IT processes, and recommend improvementsCreate current and target state architecture and define roadmapsConduct portfolio analysis of application inventory and platforms supporting business domainsSuggest strategies to simplify, innovate, and reduce costs in IT and business operationsProvide business architecture and systems processing guidanceEnsure efficiency, security, and alignment with organizational goalsDevelop compliance architecture methods including data storage, metadata management, and change controlDetermine and implement build vs. buy strategies aligned with overall business and technology strategyGovern AI use cases to ensure ROI and adherence to standards and policiesPrepare and present materials to the Technical Architecture GroupAnalyze and recommend new technologiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related fieldStrong Financial Services and Insurance domain knowledgeProperty & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience is requiredMandatory experience with Duck CreekExperience with insurance package implementationKnowledge of integration servicesGood to have knowledge of specialty lines (Medical Professional Liability)Proficiency with technology platforms and frameworks including AWS, OCI, Azure, ERP systems (Workday, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft), data lakehouse concepts, data mesh architectures, security frameworks, and AI/GenAI concepts (e.g., RAG)Experience with architecture frameworks and APM tools such as ArdoqStrong experience in Corporate Finance, HR, or Legal/Risk/ComplianceExcellent technical, analytical, and project management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood leadership and motivational skillsExperience in system architecture.
