Supports leadership in achieving the goals and tactics of the JHACH Strategic Plan through provision of analytic models and business intelligence informatics. Leads design, development, and maintenance of multiple informatics and analytic models within enterprise support systems. Serves as a team lead in a highly matrixed operations/research environment, including as a project lead on multidisciplinary teams including clinicians and biomedical researchers.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Exercises good judgement and sound decision making in researching critical issues and generating innovative solutions for efficient workflow and deliverables executionLeads as project manager with assigned project management activities including prioritizing, assigning, and reviewing deliverables for the teamProvides leadership for implementation of new and upgraded systems/releases or new/revised operational proceduresTrains other employees in the use of support systems and reporting toolsIdentifies operational improvement opportunities and assists with implementing solutionsEnhances professional growth to remain current on market trends, emerging analytic solutions, and advances in informaticsGathers highly complex system requirements by meeting with clients and researching existing technology to understand the business requirements and possible solutions for new applicationsProvides work instruction, assists and supervises other analysts with complex assignmentsDemonstrates expert knowledge of data models supported and information delivery methods and techniques.Exhibits the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, vendors and organizational administrationSupervises the use of a flexible, analytical approach to extract optimal value from biomedical dataOversees and contributes to the design of continuous validation plans for production systems that incorporate models and algorithms, providing guidelines and support for large-scale implementationPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Informatics, Business, Engineering, or related field requiredMinimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Electronic Health Record systems analysis, workflow process analysis, data warehouse support analytics, and/or application systems with record of tangible accomplishment in applying these skills in the health care environmentComputer skills including proficient knowledge of full Microsoft Office SuiteStrong project management skillsSalary Range: Minimum 40.18/hour - Maximum 64.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
